Whakatane Self-contained accommodation

Accommodation at Crestwood is ideal for a group of up to four people travelling together.

The Self Contained upstairs suite of rooms is private, quiet and comfortable. There are two bedrooms (the Balcony Room and the Twin Room), one private bathroom, separate toilet, sitting room, kitchenette area and balcony:

Balcony Room

A spacious room enjoying all day sun. It has a Queen size bed and opens onto a large balcony overlooking the bush towards the ocean. Private bathroom, electric blankets, wool underlays, clock radio, large dressing table, tub chair and excellent lighting.

Twin Room

The Twin room can be made into a super King if desired. It catches the early morning sun, overlooks the garden towards the ocean and Whale Island and a glimpse of White Island. The Twin room also has electric blankets, wool underlays, clock radio, large dressing table and excellent lighting. A spacious cosy room with adjacent private bathroom.

Bathroom/Separate Toilet

The bathroom has a shower with excellent water pressure, large vanity, heated towel rail, ceiling heater, toiletries, hairdryer and views over the plains to Mt Edgecumbe.

Guest Sitting Room

A lovely relaxing area with a large writing desk, comfortable sofas, tv, telephone, dimmer lights for cosy evenings. It leads to the sunny balcony with chairs and table where you can enjoy your evening drinks while taking in the splendid ocean views.

Coffee/Tea Area adjacent to the lounge can be used for making light snacks with a fridge, cutlery, crockery and bench unit (no cooking facilities)

Breakfast

Breakfast includes Home-made bread, jams muesli, selection of cereals, fresh fruit (off our trees in season), free range egg dishes, yoghurt, fruit juice, coffee/tea.

  • Sky TV is available downstairs. Keep up with news from around the world.
  • Hearty evening meals can be provided with notice. Enjoy an old fashioned New Zealand style roast, or locally caught fresh fish or whitebait caught by host (in season). All meals are served downstairs in the dining room.
  • Late arrivals. If arriving late or tired after a long journey, hosts can easily prepare a light meal for you.
  • Safe off road parking. There is ample room for parking boats. Motor bikes can be secured in the garage if required
